Jazz, Tap and Theatrical exams are also available to be taken. Classical Ballet exams are also available in some levels. Jazz exams begin from approx 5 years of age. The children go into the room in a group and receive a written report and a trophy. Tap exams are also available from age 5. Students do these 1 at a time so the examiner can hear their tapping (younger levels go in a group). Students receive written report and a medal. Theatrical exams are combination of (but not including all) Jazz,Tap, Ballet & Acrobatics. however in younger age group starting from about 5 they only need to do 1 or 2 of these disciplines. younger levels will learn the technique required for the exams in exam/performance classes and if they wish to enter for an exam may require some extra technique classes leading up to exams. Students in higher levels need to attend a technique clas to enter for an exam.
