Katrina Hall - Principal

RAD RTS, CSTD CL

Katrina began dancing at age 3. She trained with Gwen Mackie OAM, Helen Beinke and Rex Reid. She attended the Centre for Performing Arts (now AC Arts) at age 16, which was a full time tertiary course training in all aspects of dance with a focus on Modern Dance. Teachers included Ray Lewis, Julia Blakie and Joe Scoglio. Further training was gained from Robert O'Kell, William Carse and Christine Whales. Trained to advanced level in RAD classical ballet and intermediate level in Cecchetti classical ballet. Worked as an assistant teacher whilst continuing dance training. She has been teaching Ballet, Jazz and Tap since 1994. successfully training and preparing many students for RAD ballet exams and CSTD Ballet, Jazz, Tap & Theatrical Exams, as well as training from Nan Iversen, Terry Simpson (RAD Examiner) and Cheryl Bradley. Successfully completed RAD Teachers Certificate in 2002, CSTD Teaching Diploma in Classical Ballet in 2011, CSTD Teaching Diploma in Theatrical Dance 2018 & CSTD Teaching Diploma in Tapping in 2019.

Katherine Hall

Katherine began dancing at age 3. She has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acrobatics & Musical Theatre. She became just the second person in Adelaide to complete the highest level of CSTD Ballet “Premier Danseur” and got invited to do her "Blue Sash" performance exam. At age 18 she moved to Sydney for a year to study dance full-time before returning to Adelaide to pursue teaching, as well as studying dance she has studied fitness and has a Certificate IV in Personal Training. She has successfully completed many teaching exams over the years including, CSTD Teaching Certificate in Modern Jazz 2015, CSTD Teaching Diploma in Theatrical Dance 2017, CSTD Teaching Diploma in Tapping 2019 & CSTD Teaching Diploma in Classical Ballet 2019.

Thomas Hall

Thomas began dancing at age 2. he has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acrobatics & Musical Theatre. at 17 he started fulltime dance training in Adelaide for 2 years before becoming the first male in the world to pass the highest level of CSTD Ballet “Premier Danseur” and got invited to do his "Blue Sash" performance exam. over his years of training he has received his Certificate III in Dance as well as becoming one of the youngest teachers to have ever passed the CSTD Teaching Certificate in Tapping at just 16 years old. He has also completed his CSTD Teaching Certificate in Modern Jazz 2016, CSTD Teaching Diploma in Theatrical Dance 2019 & CSTD Teaching Diploma in Tapping 2019.
