The Mid Year Performance is a cabaret style with seating around tables. The performance is broken up into small section with a disco and lots of fun and games in between sections.
Students are only required backstage for the sections they're performing in many it's a great opportunity for them to watch other groupes perform. We have a different theme for the performance each year with best dressed prizes for the audience as well as raffles and lots of other prizes.
Students just wear the school uniform that they wear to class, keeping the cost down.
The Mid Year performance isn't compulsory but is recommend because the kids always have a blast. There is only one rehearsal for this performance which is held the same weekend as the performance meaning it doesn't take up too much time.
